City Crime Rate Drops

The Detroit News reports that Pontiac has seen a 37 percent decrease in violent crime since 2011.

Public Comments Requested for Grant

The City of Pontiac has applied for a federal grant to provide funds to support law enforcement efforts to help fight violent crime. The city is seeking public comments.  Comments should be sent in writing by mail to Jaki Holzer, 47450 Woodward Avenue, Pontiac, Michigan  48342 or by e-mail to jholzer@pontiac.mi.us by 5:00 p.m., August 17, 2015.
