grantsbannerMission Statement

The Department of Grants & Philanthropy’s mission is to compete nationally for, and support the implementation of, public and private investments that enhance the quality of life for Pontiac residents. The Department will align the City of Pontiac's fund development - the coordination and support of relationships with existing and potential funding partners - with grant management support for City departments. The team will facilitate fundraising, grant writing, and compliance, and provide oversight and project management support for City departments with active grants in both pre and post award phases.

The Department of Grants & Philanthropy has built, and will continue to build, power for Pontiac by leveraging public and private resources to improve the quality of life for Pontiac residents.
