Communications Department

The Communication Office functions as a clearing house of information regarding the activities of the City of Pontiac administration, to distribute to internal audiences (within the City of Pontiac administration and its governmental partners) and external audiences (including Pontiac residents, Pontiac businesses, media, the public, intergovernmental agencies and community partners) upon request.
 
The Communications team consists of personnel assigned to Communications, Cable and IT. The departments are all physically located inside the Administration building located at 47450 Woodward Ave., Pontiac, MI 48342. Employees assigned to these units respond to requests received in person, via electronic communication and various mail services. The unit receives and responds to requests for information involving the Mayor, Executive Personnel, Executive Departments, City of Pontiac Administrative Offices, including:
