JUDGE RULES ON MARIIHUANA APPLICATION PROCESS On December 6, 2019, a potential applicant requested that Judge Warren issue a temporary restraining order stopping the City from accepting Provisioning Center Applications, or otherwise moving forward with the process. The Judge ruled in favor of the City and denied the request. As a result, the application period remains open through December 10, 2019. Pursuant to Ordinance 2357 (B), the Interim City Clerk is responsible for accepting applications. Flagstar Bank announces $10 million investment in city of Pontiac(Oakland Press) Troy-based Flagstar Bank hopes to spur economic development within the city of Pontiac, announcing a $10 million investment into the city. A ceremony was held on Monday, Sept. 19 with a formal announcement. The investment comes almost a year since Flagstar bank said it would allocate funds to one of Pontiac’s oldest performance venues for renovations and rebranding as the Flagstar Strand Theatre for the Performing Arts.
