SUMMER/WINTER PROPERTY TAXES |
Property taxes can now be paid online or by phone (convenience fee apply). Click on this link to go to the City of Pontiac online property tax payment site. To pay by phone, call 1 (844) 392-3656. Summer taxes are payable through August 31, 2023 without penalty. Beginning September 1, 2023, a 1% interest and 3% penalty will be added to all unpaid taxes and 1% additional interest will accrue on the first of each month thereafter. We accept partial payments. Winter taxes are payable December 1, 2023 through February 14, 2024 without penalty. Beginning February 15, 2024, a penalty of 3% will be added to the unpaid taxes. We accept partial payments. |

LATE PAYMENTS | ||
All late 2022 summer and/or winter taxes paid AFTER THE DUE DATE must be mailed to: City of Pontiac Treasurer, 47450 Woodward, Pontiac, MI 48342. Payments must be received on or before February 28, 2023. Postmarks will not be honored. BEGINNING MARCH 1, 2023, all unpaid 2022 taxes are to be paid to Andrew E. Meisner, Oakland County Treasurer, 1200 N. Telegraph, Pontiac, Michigan, 48341 with additional penalties. During the month of March, a revised statement from the City Treasurer needs to accompany your remittance to the County Treasurer.
