Due to the vandalism of the electrical system at the City of Pontiac Phoenix Center Parking Garage, Orchard Lake/Auburn Road will be closed between NB Woodward and SB Woodward indefinitely.
News Detail :
The electrical system in the Phoenix Center Garage has been damaged causing the tunnel lighting to not function making it unsafe for vehicular travel. The City has opted not to repair the damage due to the extensive amount of work and prohibitive cost. This closure has been approved by the Michigan Department of Transportation through Advance Notice Permit Number: 99023-011512-12-042412.
