To all Pontiac Residents:
We are aware that several Pontiac polling sites experienced lengthy delays in obtaining ballots from the Oakland County Clerk’s Office on Tuesday, August 7. It is believed that some residents could not wait for the ballots to arrive, and, as a result, were unable to vote. Voting is amongst the most important rights of citizens, and the Mayor therefore wants to hear from any individuals that were not able to vote due to ballot shortages. Please contact Miriam in the Mayor’s office at 248-758-3324 with an explanation of the delay, and provide the precinct number and approximate time you attempted to vote.
