A Scholarship Bootcamp will be held on  Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. at the Pontiac Youth Recreation and Enrichment Center, 825 Golf Dr., Pontiac, MI 48341. Click on image to view flyer.

$5,000.00 scholarships to be awarded in the Fall 2019 and Winter 2020 academic school semesters to City of Pontiac residents pursuing a technical or skilled trades degree.

DEADLINE Until all scholarships have been awarded

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have graduated from high school or completed GED 2.5 or above GPA
  • Must be a resident of Pontiac, Michigan
  • Must be continuing on to pursue post-secondary education in a technical program (i.e. machine tool technology, engineering technology, robotics)
  • Eligibility status: High School Senior, College Freshman, College Sophomore

  • A 500 word essay on how this scholarship award will help to advance your career goals
  • Transcripts (dated within 30 days of application)
  • One letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, or counselor
