As the cold weather approaches, many residents are using outdoor fire pits to lengthen the outdoor party season. Be sure that you are following the City of Pontiac "Outdoor Fireplace or Pit" policy.

Warning Regarding Clay Chimineas
Be sure to follow manufacturer's recommendations by "curing" the chiminea with several small fires before burning a larger fire. They have been known to explode when not cured properly.
