Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission
Their purpose is to advise the city administration concerning the enhancement and promotion of parks and recreational activities and facilities in the City of Pontiac. -
- Membership: Eleven (11) members, appointed by the Mayor; one member to be chosen from each of the seven city council districts; two (2) members slected from the residents of the city as a whole; two (2) members at large (voting members) for whom residency shall not be required.
- Meeting Times: As needed

- Term: Four years with the initial appointees appointed as follows: three for four years, three for three years, two for two years and one for one year respectively. Members at large shall be appointed for four years.
