Parking Commission

Their responsibilities are to make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council regarding the operation, coordination, quantity, location, rates, policies, and other pertinent aspects of all municipally owned or operated on-street and off-street parking facilities and spaces located, now or in the future, within the central business district.

Membership: Five (5) members, appointed by the Mayor, with re-appointments subject to approval by the City Council; one member shall be a director of the Downtown Development Authority; one shall be a commissioner of the General Building Authority; two shall be owners or managers of businesses located within the geographic area of authority of the Central Business District Parking Commission; one a Pontiac resident as the member at large who shall not be affiliated with any of the foregoing.
 
Meeting Times: Second Wednesday of each month when needed
 
Term: Four (4) years, or until successor is appointed.
