Library Advisory Commission
They shall create and maintain public interest in and use of the library, investigate the service needs and requirements of the Library facilities of the City and recommend findings to the Mayor. The Commission may undertake such other library related duties as they may deem appropriate with the approval of the Mayor consistent with the Charter and ordinances of the City of Pontiac.
- Meeting Times: First Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Library. All meetings are open to the public.
- Membership: There are twelve (12) members, appointed by the Mayor, one member from each of the city council districts, two members elected from residents of the city as a whole and three voting at large members not restricted by residency.
- Term: Four (4) year terms
